Summary

Docually is a client-side document scanning tool. Your document text is processed entirely in your browser and never transmitted to any server. We do not collect, store, or access the content you scan.

What We Do NOT Collect

• Document text you paste into the scanner or Clean Check
• PII scan results or findings
• Redacted document content
• Any personal data from your scanned documents

What We Collect

Contact Form

If you submit the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, and message in a Cloudflare D1 database. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry. Contact form submissions are rate-limited (5 per IP per hour) and stored with your IP address and user agent for abuse prevention.

Local Storage

Docually may use browser local storage for display preferences. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted.

Third-Party Services

Hosting: Cloudflare

Docually is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs including IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization enabled to understand page usage. GA4 uses cookies (_ga, _gid) to distinguish users. You can opt out via Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising: Google AdSense

Docually displays advertisements via Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your browsing history. You can manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.

You have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy

Docually is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising displayed on Docually is subject to Google AdSense policies regarding children's content.
